    Dr. Huckabay received the MD from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Oklahoma City, in 1998. He served an internship in general surgery, postgraduate training in pre-urology and a residency in urology at Texas A&M University, Temple, where he was chief resident, urology from 2003-04. He also did a fellowship in urology at New York University from 2004-05 and was a fellow in laparoscopy/robotics at the Arthur Smith Institute of Urology, North Shore/Long Island Health System, New Hyde Park, NY, from 2007-08.

    Huckabay joined the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, faculty in 2005 as an assistant professor of urology before serving as a urologic surgeon at North Shore/Long Island Jewish Health System, New Hyde Park, from 2007-10.
