The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center is seeking a candidate for a full-time position in developmental and behavioral pediatrics. Applicants must be board-certified in pediatrics and BC/BE in developmental/behavioral pediatrics. This position includes providing comprehensive care for infants, children and adolescents with a wide range of developmental and behavioral disorders with a special emphasis in the areas of early intervention, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. The physician will also participate in a multi-disciplinary evaluation team and in medical education to both medical students and residents. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience.

The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Critical Care is seeking two board certified/board eligible critical care physicians to add to their current division of four. We staff an 18-bed multidisciplinary Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, with about 1,000 admissions/year. We are the only tertiary care center for the state, treating a variety of critically ill and injured patients, including post-op general surgical, neurosurgical, orthopedic, ENT and plastics patients. In addition, we have a new congenital heart surgeon and a growing congenital heart surgical program as well as an ECMO program. We teach pediatric and emergency medicine residents and are assisted by hospitalists and nurse practitioners.

Assistant Professor of Pediatric Hematology - Will teach residents and medical students in the classroom about cases and topics related to the field of Hematology/Oncology; prepare residents for the General Pediatric Board exam by lecturing on topics relevant to the exam; prepare Hematology/Oncology Fellows for specialty board exams by reviewing and discussing prior exam questions; treat patients in the Bleeding and Thrombosis, and Sickle Cell clinics; and conduct clinical research. Board certification in Pediatrics required as is board certification/eligibility in pediatric hematology/oncology. Must be eligible for Miss. State medical license.
