    Dr. Lindley earned her BA degree in chemistry at Hendrix College in 1980 and her MD at the University of Arkansas for the Medical Sciences in 1984. She completed her general surgery residency at Creighton University in Omaha in 1990.

    She then finished a plastic surgery residency at the University of Utah in 1992. Lindley served as the senior registrar in Paediatric Plastic Surgery in London, UN. She then finished an A.O. fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity in Bern, Switzerland. She spent one year as Hand and Microsurgery Fellow with Kleinert, Kutz and Associates in Louisville, KY, ending in 1994.

    While in private practice, Lindley served as clinical professor to the department. She now holds the academic positions of associate professor of Orthopedic Surgery and associate professor of surgery at UMMC. She assists and performs surgery specializing in microvascular and hand surgery, including congenital pediatric cases.
