  • Women's Health

The Division of Women's Health is a generalist OB/GYN practice within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UMMC. It is comprised of seven physicians and two nurse practitioners whose primary goals and responsibilities are to render safe and effective, evidence-based care to female patients.

While many of the patients we attract maintain residence within the tri-county areas, others are referred for specialized care from providers throughout the state and region.

These specialized areas include chronic pelvic pain, lower genital tract and vulvar diseases, pediatric/adolescent gynecology, menopausal care, minimally invasive surgery, as well as primary care and delivery of high-risk obstetrics patients who are co-managed with maternal-fetal medicine or UMMC's fetal center.
