    Background

    Dr. Auchus holds degrees from Johns Hopkins University and from Washington University in St .Louis. He is an elected fellow of the American Neurological Association, the American Academy of Neurology, and the American Geriatrics Society. He has served on the faculty of Emory University, Case Western Reserve University and University of Tennessee. His present position is Professor and McCarty Chair of Neurology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. 

    Dr. Auchus's research interests are in neuroimaging biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
