     Dr. Christopher D. Boston is an associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine, involved with teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and is also the director of the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship. 

    He graduated summa cum laude in 1999 from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He earned his MD from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2003, where he also completed his residency in family medicine. After residency training, he completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. During his fellowship, he acted as team physician at Kentucky State University, University of Kentucky and Henry Clay High School.

    He is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine and American Academy of Family Physicians and is board-certified in family medicine with a CAQ in sports medicine. He was elected to MSMA offices and committees, and is a MSMA delegate.

    Dr. Boston currently practices family medicine and sports medicine at University Physicians - Grants Ferry and serves as team physician for the Mississippi Braves, Tougaloo College, and numerous area high schools. He is also an Assistant Team Physician for Justin Sports Medicine and a member of the United States Ski and Snowboarding Association Physician Pool. He resides in Brandon, MS, with wife Meredith and four children, Keelan, Kiera, Klaityn, and Colden. They are active members of St. Paul Catholic Church.
