    The online application process for the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in the School of Health Related Professions at the University of Mississippi Medical Center opens July 1 each year; the application deadline is November 1 of the year that precedes potential entry into the program. To be eligible to apply, applicants must have a baccalaureate degree and meet specified pre-requisite course requirements with minimum 3.0 required and overall grade point averages. Other specific requirements and information is provided in the drop-down menu to the right.

    All applications to the DPT Program at UMMC must be submitted online. The applicant is responsible for submitting all required documentation to the Office of Student Records and Registrar by the application deadline to be considered for an interview. Please read the DPT Application Instructions carefully before submitting your application.

    Important Deadlines for Application Processing the class entering for May 2016:

    All submissions must be received by the Office of Student Records and Registrar on or before the following dates:

    • Completed application, application fee, all support documents, and transcripts: November 1, 2015.
    • For those enrolled in classes Fall Semester of 2015, final fall transcripts: January 26, 2016.

    Notice: DPT Program Interview Schedule Change

    NOTICE to all applicants to the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program for May of 2016 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, School of Health Related Professions:

    All interviews for the DPT Program will be scheduled for the first week in January of 2016:  Monday, January 4 - Thursday, January 7, 2016.

    Please plan your spring semester schedule accordingly. Applicants should receive notification of interview status via e-mail and regular mail by or soon after mid-December.
