  • Admission Requirements

    In addition to the admission standards of the institution and the general admission requirements of the School of Health Related Professions, candidates seeking admission to the nuclear medicine technology (NMT) program must:

    • Be ARRT (R) registered or registry-eligible.
    • Have a bachelor's degree.
    • Have successfully completed with a grade of C or better the following prerequisite courses.

    *Students accepted for the NMT program must have successfully completed a general physics course taken within the physics department at a regionally accredited educational institution. 

    Other requirements

    • Have current CPR certification at time of registration
    • Complete an interview
    • Provide documentation of a minimum 8 hours of observation in a nuclear medicine department
