  • Supply Chain Management

To remain competitive in an ever-changing health care market, the University of Mississippi Medical Center continually seeks opportunities to improve its business practices. Using the most timely, efficient and economical methods possible, Supply Chain Management acquires the highest quality supplies, equipment and services for the institution's faculty, staff and students to provide quality patient care, conduct leading-edge research and educate health care professionals of the future.

All acquisitions made by Supply Chain Management adhere to and comply with all state and federal laws and all Medical Center policies and procedures.

    Enhanced resource utilization webpage

A new Resource Link page on the Supply Chain website now provides greater communication for individuals or departments seeking to fulfill requests for non-patient-care items, such as filing cabinets, desk trays, hanging file folders, binders or report covers. The page is most helpful when one department has excess items that another department needs. Listings will remain until the item has been allocated.  For more information, e-mail Kimberly Tucker at
