Evers Society recognizes SOM's best faculty

The Medical School's top educators were honored during the sixteenth annual awards banquet of the Carl G. Evers M.D. Society April 11 at the Norman C. Nelson Student Union.

Those who received awards include, seated from left, Dr. David Brown, Biochemistry, M1 Basic Science Professor of the Year; Dr. Jack Correia, Biochemistry, M1 Department of the Year; Dr. David Dzielak, Physiology and Biophysics, M2 Basic Science Professor of the Year; and Dr. Stephen Stray, Microbiology, M2 Department of the Year; and standing from left, Dr. Jarrett Corley, Surgery, M3 Resident of the Year; Dr. Kimberly Paduda, Pediatrics, M3 Clinician of the Year; Dr. Michelle Horn, Internal Medicine, M3 and M4 Department of the Year; Dr. Rishi Roy, Surgery, M4 Resident of the Year; and Dr. Zeb Henson, Internal Medicine, M4 Clinician of the Year.
