The University of Mississippi Medical Center's master facilities plan promises to profoundly transform the way students learn, scientists interact and patients receive care at the state's only academic health sciences center.
Maps help illustrate expansions and additions included in the master plan.
The master facilities plan is scheduled to be implemented in four phases based on institutional priorities. First construction activities are planned to be initiated by the fourth quarter of 2010.
Within state lines, Dr. Scott Benton is quite literally peerless.
The gravel overflow lot at Veterans Memorial Stadium will be closed for repairs until approximately Sunday, July 31. Temporary parking is available in Lot C and Lot D.
Radiologic Sciences students Ryan Bostick and Roxy Bayne practice using imaging equipment, while Russell Sistrunk and Simira Nazir (background) study radiographic images in the newly completed Radiologic Sciences lab. Construction on the lab, located in the School of Health Related Professions, was completed in early March. Mark Gray, director of the Radiologic Sciences program, said the imaging suite enables students to practice both conventional film-screen imaging and digital radiography applications in one location.
