In Memoriam: Dr. William C. Pinkston

Dr. William C. "Chappie" Pinkston, a professor of medicine at UMMC, died March 5. Services were March 11 at Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson.

Drive for 1955 continues

Everyone who donates blood between Dec. 27-March 31 will be registered to win the car. Medical Center faculty, staff and students can become eligible by participating in the institution's quarterly blood drive, the third of FY 2010-11, scheduled for March 21-25. Donations are needed to help the Medical Center reach its established goal of 1,955 units of blood. Everyone who donates will receive a free Drive for 1955 T-shirt.
