    Changes to CITI Training Requirements
    Effective Jan. 15, 2014, CITI training requirements will change from annually to every 3 years. All are required to take CITI  training this year, 2014,  at which point the 3-year requirement will be implemented.

    IRB Walk-In Clinic
    The Human Research Office offers a walk-in clinic from 9 a.m.-noon Thursdays in Room U020-A, Learning Resource Center. An staff member is available to help with completing IRB applications, writing consent documents and navigating the IRB application process. Available on a first-come basis.

    Welcome to the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s Human Research Office (HRO) website. The Human Research Office is the administrative home to UMMC’s two IRBs. The IRBs are composed of members from a wide range of scientific and non-scientific disciplines and includes members from outside of the academic community. The IRBs review all human research protocols in accordance with applicable federal regulations, state laws and University policies.
