The entry-level professional program for students seeking their first physical therapist degree is 36 months in duration beginning in the summer session each year. One class is admitted each year.
Due to variability of available clinical sites, completion of the required curriculum may be extended beyond the minimum of 36 months. The program has no provisions for part-time students.
Learning activities include lecture, practical laboratory sessions and clinical education experiences. Clinical education experiences require the student to temporarily relocate out-of-state for at least one clinical session.
The transitional DPT program will suspend enrollment of new students at the conclusion of the Spring 2013 enrollment period. Make your plans now to apply for the Spring 2013 semester!
