  • Scholarship Applications

    Please visit the MYU portal to complete the following Scholarship Applications. 

    • Sumner Foundation Scholarship Fund
      Established in 1977 by Mrs. E.H. Sumners of Eupora, Mississippi, to provide scholarship assistance for students from Webster, Montgomery, Attala, Carroll, and Choctaw counties who are enrolled at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Award amounts are based upon funding and vary each year.
    • Orr-Russwurm Memorial Scholarship
      Scholarship preserved exclusively for the purpose of providing assistance to deserving students whom are planning a full or part-time career in Christian Missionary work. The amount will vary annually based on eligibility of funds. All eligibility criteria as stated on the application MUST be met to obtain an award. 
    • Lettie Pate Whitehead Scholarship
      Established by the Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation. This scholarship is designed for Christian women who have financial need and are pursuing a degree in nursing, medicine, dentistry, and health related professions. Recipients must be in good academic standing and must be accepted to either of the before mention programs. Recipients must also apply for all applicable state and federal grants, which includes completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). 
    • UMMC Family Scholarship Graduate/Professional Programs
      Established for children of full-time employees of The University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC). Children of retired UMMC employees or those UMMC employees who die while in service are also eligible. The scholarship will pay up to full time tuition. The amount will vary annually based on eligibility of funds. All eligibility criteria as stated on the application MUST be met to obtain an award. 
    • UMMC Faculty/Staff Child Scholarship Undergraduate Programs
      Established for children of full-time employees of The University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC), The University of Mississippi & its branch campuses. Children of retired employees or those employees who die while in service are also eligible. The scholarship will pay up to One-half tuition per semester (full tuition per semester for those children of parents employed before July 1, 1977). The amount will vary annually based on eligibility of funds. All eligibility criteria as stated on the application MUST be met to obtain an award.
