Program Overview

The mission of the Radiologic Sciences program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center is to provide an educational experience in a scholarly environment to help students reach their highest potential in technical knowledge and clinical competency in radiologic technology.
The Department of Radiologic Sciences offers two courses of study:
- The traditional baccalaureate degree program in radiologic sciences is an entry-level program designed to provide students with the education and clinical experience necessary to become registered as a radiologic technologist. The program is full-time and offered across five semesters.
- The advanced standing baccalaureate degree program in radiologic sciences (2+U online), is intended to enhance the quality and education of registered radiologic technologists. The program is part-time and offered across five semesters. Online coursework is the method of content delivery.
