Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission into the Master of Health Informatics and Information Management program, candidates must meet all University of Mississippi Medical Center requirements for admission and submit evidence of the following:

• A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning with a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants accepted usually have a higher than minimum grade point average.
• Prerequisite coursework requirements: Human anatomy and physiology.
• An official report of Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores.
• A resume.
• An essay.
• All application and support documents completed and submitted to the Office of Student Records and Registrar, including a non-refundable application fee of $25.
