Degree and Accreditation

Students who satisfactorily complete the undergraduate program will be awarded the Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from the University of Mississippi and are eligible to apply to take the examination for registration by the American Health Information Management Association.

The HIIM baccalaureate program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).
