Following satisfactory completion of all requirements, the student will be awarded the Bachelor of Science degree in Cytotechnology from the University of Mississippi and is eligible to apply to sit for a national certification examination to become certified as a cytotechnologist ( CT, ASCP) by the American Society of Clinical Pathology.
