UAB ophthalmologist to explain light sensitivity
Dr. Paul D. Gamlin, professor of ophthalmology and professor in the Department of Vision Sciences, Neurobiology, Psychology and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, will present “Light-sensitive Ganglion Cells in Primate Retina: Their Anatomy, Physiology and Behavioral Roles” from noon-1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7, in room G151 of the Guyton Library.
All Medical Center faculty, staff and students are invited. The seminar is presented by the Department of Neurobiology and Anatomical Sciences.
