ORHD K-Award to bolster disparities research
The Office of Rural Health and Health Disparities and the Office of Research has established the National Institutes of Health K-Award Writer Series at UMMC to provide support for a scientist committed to research who is in need of both advanced research training and educational experience.
The goal of the ORHD is to eliminate health disparities through prevention. The writer series is geared toward early-career faculty interested in rural health and/or health disparities.
