Practitioner receives customer service kudos
Meredith Curley, a nurse practitioner in otolaryngology, received a customer service award during the monthly hospital leadership meeting Feb. 21 in the Classroom Wing.
Curley was recognized by the awards team for personally helping a young cancer patient schedule a second opinion he needed to determine the best course of action for his illness.
"Meredith has been a real source of strength and compassion for the family (of the patient) during this time by going way beyond the minimum required to advocate for this patient," her award nomination stated.
