IHL honors McClendon as diversity role model
Dr. Katie McClendon, clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, receives a diversity recognition award Feb. 21 from Ed Blakesee, right, president of the Board of Trustees, Mississippi State Institutions of Higher Learning, and Dr. James Keeton, vice chancellor for health affairs.
McClendon was recognized by the IHL "for serving as a role model and strong advocate for the advancement of diversity at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and the state of Mississippi."
