Adams receives customer service kudos
Christie Adams, a radiologic technologist in diagnostic radiology, received a customer service award during the monthly leadership meeting Jan. 24 in the Classroom Wing.
Adams was recognized for going "above and beyond her normal job duties" to help a female patient who had been left waiting for transportation to the parking garage after having had X-rays.
Adams "said she was getting off (work) in just a few minutes" and picked the patient up in her car at the University Physicians Pavilion and drove her to her car in the parking garage so she wouldn't have to continue waiting for transportation.
