Orthopedic group taps Graves for induction
The American Orthopaedic Association has inducted Dr. Matthew Lee Graves, assistant professor of orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation, Hansjörg Wyss AO Medical Foundation Chair of Orthopaedic Trauma and residency program director.
Founded in 1887, the AOA is the oldest and most distinguished orthopedic association in the world. It has been the parent of several major orthopedic organizations, including the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, the America Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation and the OMeGA Medical Grants Association.
Membership is achieved by those who have made a significant contribution to education, research and the practice of orthopedic surgery.
