UMMC employees to wear red, support AHA

The Medical Center and the American Heart Association will host a "Wear Red Day" event to support women affected by heart disease on Friday, Feb. 1.

AHA "Keep Calm and Go Red" T-shirts are available online at jcgstore.com. The shirts may be picked up at various Medical Center locations, including the main campus, the Central Billing Office, Holmes County Hospital, the Jackson Medical Mall Thad Cochran Center, Grants Ferry and Select Specialty Hospital.

With manager approval, UMMC employees may wear the wrinkle-free T-shirts Feb. 1. Jeans will not be allowed.

All T-shirt orders must be made online by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22. All proceeds will benefit the AHA.
