MIGMH staff attend disparities conference

MIGMH staff had five abstracts accepted at the conference, which offered the opportunity to learn innovative and practical strategies for addressing health disparities in the Delta Region states of Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi.
During the summit, a Department of Health and Human Services effort to advance activities to eliminate health disparities by focusing on emerging science and its intersection with practice and policy, MIGMH staff networked with distinguished NIH representatives and members of the United States Congress.
