UMMC announces December blood drive

Mississippi Blood Services personnel will visit the Medical Center Dec. 3-7 for UMMC's quarterly blood drive.

All donors will receive an MBS T-shirt. Identification is required to donate blood.

Times, dates and places for the drive include:

* 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, between the Guyton Research Center and the School of Medicine and at the University Hospital entrance;

* 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, between the Guyton Research Center and the School of Medicine;

* 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, between the Guyton Research Center and the School of Medicine;

* 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, in the School of Dentistry lounge;

* 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at the Batson Children's Hospital entrance;

* 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at the Bailey Avenue entrance to the Jackson Medical Mall Thad Cochran Center;

* 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the University Hospital entrance; and

* 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, in the second-floor conference center at the Norman C. Nelson Student Union.
