UNISA taps Hicks for external examiner slot
The University of South Africa (UNISA) in the Republic of South Africa has selected Dr. Chindo Hicks, associate professor of medicine and director of the Cancer Bioinformatics Core in the UMMC Cancer Institute, to sever as an external examiner.
In this role, Hicks will assess and evaluate the Ph.D. theses for UNISA’s Ph.D. candidates in bioinformatics and make a report and recommendations to the Board of Examiners about the candidates’ fulfillment of the requirements for the doctoral degree in bioinformatics.
