Medical Center welcomes NIH director

In a day of presentations, Collins heard from representatives of the University of Mississippi, University of Southern Mississippi, Jackson State University, Tougaloo College, Mississippi State University and UMMC about their NIH-funded programs. He also visited the Jackson Medical Mall to hear a presentation on the Jackson Heart Study. The day marked the first visit of an NIH director to the Medical Center campus.
