Ceremony to reopen hospital cafeteria

A grand opening ceremony for the renovated cafeteria is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6. All six dining stations will open for business at 11.

Cash, credit or debit cards and payroll deduction with valid UMMC employee identification will be accepted.

Food Services News and Notes

The Panini Grill will close at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5, to relocate a cash register. The Wiser Bistro will be open for dinner on Sept. 5.

Once the new cafeteria has opened, retail hours for select food and beverage venues on campus will include:

Favorites: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays

Full-service Grill: 24 hours a day

Pizza Station: 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays

Salad Sensations: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays

Simply to Go: 24 hours a day

World Cuisine: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays; 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sundays
