Departmental parking fees effective Sept. 1

As part of the new UMMC Parking Policy, effective Saturday, Sept. 1, all Medical Center departments that have employees with short-term parking assigned to them will be required to pay $15 per month for each employee.

This includes all on-campus parking facilities as well as UMMC parking facilities at the Blake Clinic, Medical Towers and Lakeland Drive. Departmental leaders will receive an interdepartmental invoice each month for all short-term parkers assigned to their department.

Employee access will be cancelled for departments that do not pay for the short-term parking. Those employees will be welcome to use the free parking available at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium.
