Kolodney takes gavel as MDA president
Dr. Harold Kolodney, professor of oral oncology and behavioral medicine in the Department of Otolaryngology and Communicative Science, was inducted as the 2012-13 president of the Mississippi Dental Association at the organization's annual meeting in June.
Kolodney is certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics and specializes in prosthodontics and maxillofacial prosthetics at the Oral Oncology Clinic.
Kolodney earned his D.M.D. at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. He completed a general dentistry residency at the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center, a general practice residency at the Genessee Hospital and a general prosthodontics residency at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where he also completed a fellowship in maxillofacial prosthetics.
