Kent to present Hardy forum, lecture
Dr. K. Craig Kent, A. R. Curreri Professor of Surgery, chairman of surgery and professor of vascular surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine, will speak at the James D. Hardy Surgical Forum and Lecture on Wednesday, May 30, in the second-floor conference center of the Norman C. Nelson Student Union.
Kent will present "Evolution in the Treatment of Vascular Disease . . . A Case Study of How Quickly Medicine Can Change," at 8 a.m. and will give the James D. Hardy Lecture, "Research in Surgery is Alive and Well," at 4 p.m.
Case presentations are scheduled for 9 a.m. and chief resident papers are scheduled for 1 p.m. Lunch will be available on a first-come basis. For more information, call Cheryl Dunson at 5-1226.
