NIH hypertension section taps Zhuo
Dr. Jia (Joe) Zhuo, professor of pharmacology and toxicology, was appointed a member of the National Institute of Health’s Hypertension and Microcirculation Study Section. Zhuo was notified of the honor by Dr. Richard Nakamura, acting director of the Center for Scientific Review.
Study section members are selected on the basis of their demonstrated competence and achievements in their specific disciplines as evidenced by the quality of their research accomplishments, publications in scientific journals and other significant scientific activities.
