WHAT: A UMMC pediatric interventional cardiologist will perform two live procedures in Jackson that will be televised to the Pediatric and Adult Interventional Cardiology Symposium in Miami.

UMMC is the only location in Mississippi offering catheterized congenital heart defect repair, and one of only a handful of locations in the South. Since catheterized procedures are far less invasive than surgery, patients recover quicker. Ebeid will demonstrate technique, process and technology involved in the procedures.
