WHAT: The University of Mississippi Medical Center employees celebrate Independence Day.

WHEN: Friday, June 29 at noon

WHERE: University Hospital main lobby (Media may park in circular drive without blocking traffic flow.)

WHY: The event, sponsored by UMMC Multicultural Affairs, will feature the UMMC Choir singing the National Anthem and guest speaker Dr. Joyce Wade-Hamme with the Jackson Medical Clinic presenting, “Why I am Proud to be an American: Perspective of an African-American Female Physician in Mississippi.”
