Biography

Dr. Susan Lofton currently serves as a part-time clinical specialist at the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center and is a legal nurse consultant for various law firms throughout the southeast, serving frequently as a testifying expert. Her expertise in documentation strategies and interpreting standards of care has resulted in speaking and consultation opportunities at the state and national levels. She maintains certification as a clinical nurse specialist through the American Nurses Association, with a focus in gerontological and community-health nursing.
