Biography

Lishia Lee has been a full-time instructor in the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing Traditional BSN program since 2008. Previously, she was an RN and patient educator in the Batson Children's Hospital, where she continues to work PRN as a staff nurse in general pediatrics. She has been certified in pediatric nursing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 2001 and currently serves on the ANCC Pediatric Content Expert Panel.

Her clinical interests include pediatric diabetes and childhood nutrition and obesity. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in clinical health sciences.
