The UMMC Quality Improvement Student Interest Group (UMMC QI-SIG) is a recently developed (January 2013) inter-professional chapter of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Open School for Health Professionals. We are here to involve students from the various schools of Health Professions at UMMC to improve health care and patient safety at Mississippi's only academic medical center. We work directly with the UMMC office of Quality/Patient Safety, whom we cannot thank enough for their resources and support.
Download the UMMC QI-SIG Fact Sheet for a brief overview.
