New House Officer Orientation Dates

2013 Orientation and registration days for ALL new house officers are scheduled for:

• June 25 and 26, 2013 - 7:30 a.m.
  ACLS provider course, UMMC Conference Center, Jackson Medical Mall Thad Cochran Center
• Thursday, June 27, 2013, Day 1 - 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
  New house officer orientation (registration and continental breakfast), Classroom Wing Building (CW) 
• Thursday, June 27, 2013 - Special luncheon to honor new house officers
• Friday, June 28, 2013, Day 2 - 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
  New house officer orientation (registration and continental breakfast), Classroom Wing Building (CW) followed by Information Systems orientation in the SHRP Building.

A special luncheon will be held in your honor at Noon on June 27, Day 1; please plan to attend.

Your residency training program director will advise you of department orientation dates to add to your calendar.

Remember: No resident, excluding dentistry, will be able to begin July 1 if they do not have a valid Mississippi medical license. No one is excluded from this requirement for any reason. It is your responsibility to obtain a license.
