The importance of research can never be overstated. It opens new doors that allow us to better understand and treat multiple diseases and medical conditions. The Division of Nephrology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center actively participates in both clinical and basic research in an effort to strive to improve the treatment of kidney disease.
