    Multidisciplinary Melanoma Clinic (MMC)

    The UMMC Multidisciplinary Melanoma Clinic (MMC) is scheduling patients on the third Friday morning of every month. Natale Sheehan, MD (Oncology), Will Black, MD (Dermatology), Ricky Clay, MD (Plastic Surgery) and Randy Jordan, MD (ENT) are seeing melanoma patients at all stages of their disease and providing co-management services with private practicing dermatologists. State-of-the-art techniques available include sentinel node biopsy, excisional surgery and complex repair, Mohs surgery for select indications, interferon, traditional chemotherapy, targeted therapy and clinical trials. Patients will be scheduled quickly and our recommendations will be discussed with the patient and rapidly communicated to referring physicians. For an appointment, call (601) 984-5590.

    UP-Grants Ferry

    The Department of Dermatology now has an active clinic at UP-Grants Ferry staffed by Drs. Brodell and Jackson and nurse practitioners Jackson and Partridge. Patients of all ages with a wide variety of skin problems are seen at this location. For an appointment, call (601) 853-6333.

    UP-Pavilion, Suite K (UMMC main campus)

    The Department of Dermatology now has an active dermatology clinic at UP-Pavilion, Suite K, on the UMMC campus. All dermatology doctors see patients of all ages with a wide variety of skin problems at this location. For an appointment, call (601) 815-8333.

    The Face & Skin Center

    This facility schedules patients with a wide variety of skin conditions, but specializes in cosmetic dermatology and dermatologic surgery, Mohs surgery, excisional surgery, nail surgery and cosmetic procedures to improve age spots, unhealthy-looking skin, facial aging, fine lines/wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, leg and facial veins, nose, cheek and chin reshaping, poor skin texture, rosacea, skin cancer, spider veins, sun-damaged skin, unsightly skin lesions, unwanted facial or body hair.

    Treatments include rejuvenation of facial skin with topical treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, Blue Light treatment, intense pulsed light treatments, skin tightening, laser therapy (hair removal, red marks, warts), fillers and vein injections are performed by Drs. Ward, McCowan and Black supported by a cadre of nurses trained in cosmetic treatments. We also work closely with J. Randall Jordan, MD, from the Department of Otolaryngology and Communicative Sciences who performs brow and forehead lifts, facelifts, eyelid lifts, nose reshapings, ear reshapings and chin reshapings.
