    • Specific: Pregnancy-induced hypertension, endothelial function and circulating angiogenic balance.

    Research methods and techniques

    The Reduced Uterine Perfusion Pressure (RUPP) model of pregnancy-induced hypertension. Chronic instrumentation of rodent models. Isolation and catheterization of major blood vessels for direct pressure measurements and chronic pharmacological administration. Molecular techniques including ELISA, western blotting, qRT-PCR, gene cloning and transfection. Cell and tissue culture, including controlled hypoxia exposure.
