Program Overview

One class of students is admitted each year. The Master of Occupational Therapy program is 36 months in duration beginning in the summer session each year.
Due to variability of available clinical sites, completion of the required curriculum may be extended beyond the minimum of 36 months. The program has no provisions for part-time students.
Learning activities include lecture, practical laboratory sessions and clinical education experiences. Clinical education experiences require the student to temporarily relocate out of state for at least one of the two 12-week clinical sessions, and the other clinical assignment may or may not be within commuting distance from the Jackson metropolitan area.
