The program trains leaders in administration, education, and clinical areas to navigate changes in the health care environment. The program is designed to provide graduates an opportunity to assume upper level managerial and leadership roles within the health care delivery system. The program is also designed to prepare licensed, certified, and/or registered health care practitioners for faculty and leadership positions within healthcare organizations.
The doctor of health administration, offered across nine semesters, is devised for, but not limited to, part-time, non-traditional students. Online coursework is the primary method of content delivery although students come to campus at least once per year.
