    2014 ADA/Dentsply Student Clinician Award

    The ADA/Dentsply Student Clinician Award is given to one student each year to attend the ADA/Dentsply Student Clinician Research Program.  They are also awarded a plaque on Awards Day.

    The Hinman Student Research Symposium is a national meeting that features oral and poster presentations of research studies by dental students and graduate trainees from dental schools across North America. One student representative from each dental across the nation is chosen to attend.     Dental students explore research career options at ADAF conference

    Gaithersburg, Md.—The ADA Foundation's Paffenbarger Research Center hosted 48 dental students April 21-23, 2013 for the 49th Annual Dental Students' Conference on Research. Students from across the U.S. and Canada attend the conference each year to network with dental researchers and scientists and to learn about wide-ranging career options in oral health research. The students also participate in poster presentations.   

    Scientists from the ADA, the ADAF Paffenbarger Research Center, National Institute of Standards and Technology, the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research and other oral health industry leaders were on hand to network with students. Most of the program took place at the ADA Foundation's Paffenbarger Research Center on the National Institute of Standards and Technology campus in Gaithersburg, Md. A second day of educational sessions and other activities took place at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.
