Care Planning and Restorative Sciences

Mission

The Department of Care Planning and Restorative Sciences encompasses the areas of operative dentistry, diagnostic sciences and oral medicine as well as the specialties of prosthodontics and oral-maxillofacial radiology. The mission of the department is to integrate these areas into a strong didactic, preclinical and clinical experience for our students with the goal of helping them become knowledgeable and competent general practitioners. The department strives to make all classroom, laboratory and clinical experiences relevant to this goal.
