Intramural Sports and Activities
Intramural sports are a very important part of our extracurricular activities on campus. For some, they offer an opportunity to relive the glory days. For others, they are a way to relieve some stress. Everyone, however, will agree that they are a great way to meet new people and have some fun outside of the classroom.
The ASB offers five sports: dodge ball, flag football, volleyball, basketball and soccer. The fall season begins with the ever-popular flag football and ends with volleyball that extends into the winter. Next we have five-on-five basketball which begins soon after volleyball ends. Soccer is the last sport of the traditional school year and usually ends sometime in May. Recently dodge ball was added as a summer sport to help ease the dog days of those who have seen their last summer vacation.
The games are always fun and in this high-stakes environment can get quite competitive. So gear up, do your best, and support your team if you are less athletically inclined.
