How do I make an appointment?

To contact an academic counselor and receive an appointment, please complete the following online form, which will be submitted directly to the academic counselors:

An academic counselor will contact you after the Request for Services form is received. If you have questions or if a situation is urgent, contact an academic counselor by phone (601) 815-4233) or e-mail.

What are the office hours?

The Office of Academic Counseling Services is available from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday year-round, except on UMMC holidays. Appointments may be scheduled before or after regular office hours if needed. 

Where is the office located?

The Office of Academic Counseling Services is located in Suite U155-A on the second floor of the Verner Holmes Learning Resource Center.

All faculty members should call (601) 815-4233 or e-mail Dr. Natalie Gaughf, director of Academic Counseling, or Dr. Penni Smith, academic counselor, directly for assistance and further information.
